accufitgolf I believe it a club gripping jig. The club face rested/aligned against the bottom piece. The shaft fit between the two posts. Hope I am describing its use properly.
glebert Well, at least it is golf related. I remember a similar question on one of the other forums for something that was found in a clubbuilder's workshop that was of a more, shall we say, personal nature...🙂
