Par4QC It costs a hell of a lot more than bowling. You could bowl all day and not spend what an hour there costs. Plus, the food/drink prices are 'stadium' prices. Checked the prices last night from the nearest one, which was Chicago.
Really?
So, just looking at the closest Chicago location closest to me (Naperville) and here is what you get....
Today's pricing for 6 people in a bay - From open to close (least expensive to most expensive pricing all day) $4.50-$7.83 per hour, per player.
If you went on "Half Price Tuesday". Open to close that pricing is $2,25 -$3.92 per hour open to close per hour/per player.
Perhaps it is more than bowling, but this is a golf forum. As I am not a bowler, I am not too sure that you can bowl "all day" for $2.25 or $7.83, but I could be wrong.
Of course you could spend $6.50 on a frozen burger that was microwaved at your favorite alley. Where you had to pick out the freshest slice of onion and couple of pickle slices from the tupperware tub dragged out of the cooler from the night before... or you could spend the $12 on a fresh burger that was brought to your heated bay already garnished for you with fresh fries.
I guess it both how you look at things, and how you do math.
Of course, both could have been compared to the $40 round of golf that took 5 hours, the two ProV balls lost, the 3 beer cart beers purchased + tip, the hot dog at the turn and the 19th hole beer. Which would probably have been somewhere around $14 per hour. (I rounded down based on the fact that the two lost balls were "replaced" by two company logo Top Flite balls found during the search) hahaha
