I’m not sure about the Proto shafts... a few years back I bought a couple of HD proto shafts and talking later to Robert at HOF, he told be they really weren’t very good.😁😁. I appreciated his honesty.
Some shafts he changes names on and you can actually email HOF and Robert replies to you. I tend to stick to the shafts that have been around a while there like the Express, The Black Diamond ( which he told me was renamed Code Blue when they changed the graphics). I had a Patriot before, another long standing shaft and I loved it. The Express plays a bit stiff to flex.
The Quicksilver may seem light but it’s a stable shaft. Like I was saying with the Black Diamond, I was afraid of the low weight... 50’s... but it’s so stable that it works. Lower quality shafts I would have an issue with hitting at such a low weight. HOF has a great weight to strength ratio.
I have a Quicksilver to play at full length next year and might be grabbing another from Rex to play at my standard 46” length. Very smooth with 4.0 torque and like I keep saying... very stable.
