So, a couple weeks ago the tip of my driver shaft in my Adams Speedline broke. This is the white adjustable hosel head. The shaft was already a little soft so I just trimmed the broken part off and reshafted. The hosel does not go very far into this adapter at all, maybe 1/2". Ever since the reshaft I have been hitting some absolutely horrible feeling shots. Sound is crazy bad, vibration is crazy bad. Results aren't crazy bad though. Basically to get a good sound and feel I have to tee the ball very low and hit low on the face. Anything up higher sounds and feels way wrong. I'm not sure I reshafted in the exact orientation that the club was originally but it should be close. Would this make a difference in sound feel? Can a 1/2" tip trim cause the big change I am experiencing?

Dufferman. If the shaft broke in the tip, it has to be at least 1 inch. That would be noticeable. However, the second and likely more important cause of your issue is that there is only .5 inches of shaft inside the hosel/adapter. That is not enough for any safe play and will definitely effect the feel and performance of the shaft.

Doubtful.....but change in clublength and SW might be throwing you off a bit, less center face contacts./?

1/2” tip trim is not gonna change shaft flex but maybe 5cpm? That’s barely noticeable. It could be the very shallow shafting depth into the adapter? How did you clean out the broken piece in the adapter? Drill it out?
