sdandrea1 Played 18 today without any mods. I'm used to the lighter weight now, and made a few putts I shouldn't have. It's very easy to hit this guy dead straight. Once I got used to the new face insert, I was lag putting with much better distance control. I'm not going to lengthen it. Bottom line: This is the best putter I ever got for $89. This is a VERY good putter at twice the price.
Sparky sdandrea1 Man, I put a normal size grip on my CAG, and it feels so much better now. Very solid little mallet.
pellmell [deleted] Dito. My last four putter purchases, two YES! Dawn putters, one with an alignment dot, the other with a sight line, a Carbite Tour Blade and a Tour Edge Exotics DG v1.1, all 100% CNC milled for under $70 a piece.
Dufferman Pssh, my best putter is a Scotty Red X for $5 from a garage sale (ask the wife how much is this putter? 😀 ) I don't think I've paid over $20 for a putter!
sdandrea1 Sparky My go-to grip is the SuperStroke Flatso. I put one on my CAG and it is still a very solid unit for me as well. Staying in the bag!
