sdandrea1 Hitting the damn ball off the turf is the issue.
If I may make a suggestion, and I know you love the experimenting as much as the next person, extend your fw clubs at least an inch. Look for heads with flatter lies, and I know you love Ping, which do have such. With the neck problems, this might just help some. But, it will change your swing plane, which might also help the neck thing.
An added benefit, if you can hit them, will be you'll hit them longer. I've got a G410 3wd. I'm using at 44 1/4 and it is killer, when I make good contact. I don't hit any fw with much good contact the way it is, but this thing is long, a lot longer when I do. I've got all my clubs set up this way now, and I'm hitting them better than in the past. Drivers @ 47", irons +3/4", hybrids +1/2-3/4".
It's great to still be able to have fun, at our age, tinkering with toys. ๐
