The top free agents remaining for the Bucs are Fournette, Brown, Suh (representing himself) and Succop. IMO Succop is a must. Oh, and Gronk resigned.

Cam isn't the answer. I always thought they should've gone after QB AJ McCarron who won Titles at Alabama and never really got a shot in the NFL except as a back up.

Spuzz As long as any good/great QB has a sayso in it, Trubisky will be the Bears QB next season. Free agents really don't have a sayso, they got very few choices if they want work.
You don't go to Chicago to be a great QB. And, some possibly good/great QBs have been forced to Chicago through the draft, only to die there.
They need to sign a good/great coach, that will let a QB become great in that city!

I also thought it was kinda funny and sad that they thought Wilson was a possibility, and then they get washed up Dalton and pay him 10 mil to hold a clipboard.

The Bears are not paying Andy Dalton much more than they paid career backup Chase Daniel a couple of years ago, and he was a lot less talented than Dalton. My point is that the Bears could still be planning to do something more at QB. I hope they try real hard to move Foles, and then draft a project with a big arm at #20 or #52.

Dalton = Trubisky more or less. But they have seen enough of Mitch. He is not good at throwing deep. And he doesn't seem to read defenses well enough.

The deal that amazed me is Jameis Winston's. 1 million base, before incentives? Wow, he really wanted to stay with the Saints, or felt he had no other choice.

DonM I got curious and looked up Jameis' career TD/INT ratio. 121 touchdowns/88 interceptions. The guy is a serious athlete, but I don't know why anyone would want him at any price with numbers like that. Dalton's isn't much better, but at least its closer to 2:1. I guess maybe that's part of playing for teams that aren't very good though, you have to take chances to at least try and win.

Jameis has always been an NFL interception machine. Guy is just not very bright. Who can forget the Publix crab legs incident and the F her right in the P remark?

Reportedly the Bucs are interested in James White from the Patriots. He's a great pass catching back that Brady loved.
