garyt1957 In the past a few companies like Golfsmith when they were selling more components mid 90's did sell a lighter version iron head and a standard weight iron head. These lighter heads were marketed for use with graphite shafts to get a lighter heft match not specially marketed to ladies. Some speak of them as ladies heads. BTW conversely you could use a heavier head or std. head with graphite and get a better heft match. This goes back to using lead powder down steel shafts for club heft weighting.
Fast forward to today Wishon's heads in general are lighter than the majority as it's easy to add weight very hard to subtract/grind. Some like Alpha are on average heavier marketed towards a shorter playing length.
