mulegolf I just got some new golf shoes (3 pair) and that got me to thinking. I wonder how many pairs of golf shoes do most golfers own? I now have 7 pair of spikeless golf shoes: 1) Foot Joy Flex (gay azz blue) Thanks SPUZZ. I'll never see anything blue again without thinking "gay azz." 2) Adidas Code Chaos Sport (black) 3) Foot Joy Contour Casual (brown) 4) Footjoy ARC SL (black) 5) Foot Joy that I don't know the name of but it's 3-4 years old. It's a grey mesh spikeless that has a simulated spike (round plate with ridges) as well as smaller nubs, 6) Walter Hagen (brown) they are terrible. They are vinyl and you slide out of them on side hills. 7) an old, old pair of MacGregor sandals. I'm not sure why I thought I needed 7 pairs of golf shoes but I guess my wife is right, shoes are my weakness.
Spuzz mulegolf Foot Joy Flex (gay azz blue) Thanks SPUZZ. I'll never see anything blue again without thinking "gay azz. LOL! Welcome to the Dark Side. I own 5 pairs. 2 black Footjoys (one brand new, the other about to become range shoes) 2 brown (1 dark brown Etonic and the other light brown Dexter Slip-ons) 1 white (Footjoy Lites) No gayness in this lot.
ptjn1201 One -- a New Balance pair I picked up from RBG last Fall. Before that, I was wearing Skechers work sneakers with safety soles -- I liked them but they discontinued the model, the newer one has a more flexible sole which doesn't work for me.
garyt1957 One but I don't wear golf shoes anymore, regular cross trainers for me. May wear the golf shoes occasionally for early morning rounds when it's really dewy just for the waterproofing not slipping
accufitgolf 6 pairs. All Foot Joy. 3 saddle (older FJ Contours), 1 brown, 1 black, and 1 white (older Dry Joys). I rarely wear the white. Two pairs of golf shoes last 3 time longer than one pair. Rotate usage, use shoe trees, clean/dry them after use.
johnnydoom One. Not a fashionable person, so one goes with whatever I'm wearing whether it really does or not. Brown/White Greenjoys my wife bought for me a few years ago as a gift.
d5n03 5 pairs of which 2 that I wear for golf. The other 3 pair are old & worn - I use those for mowing & yard work.
Natpharm 2 - Adidas Tour 360 Boost (one 'old' pair and one not quite as old pair), black/black stripes
wishbone 2...a pair of FJ's I've had for awhile, and a pair of Etonics I just bought this winter at the golf show
Rickochet I have one pair of Skechers golf shoes that I seldom wear. I get better lateral support for my bad knees with a pair or Merrell sneakers.
Par4QC 1, but haven't worn them in several years. Like garyt1957, I wear cross trainers, or whatever they be called. I don't play in early wetness, nor do I play in general wetness. I've been looking at spikeless shoes all summer, but they just have no visual appeal for me.
fatshot I have three pair.....all Footjoys of various styles.....usually FJ Dry Joys. FJ is the ONLY company that I've found that makes my size (13 narrow!), and even THEY are hard to find. Trouble is, the only color I ever seem to be able to find them in is white with some kind of beige saddle or trim....I'd love to find a pair of black golf shoes!!!
LBlack14 I'd have to count, but I think 12-13 pair. Various brands including Nike, Adidas, Footjoy and Skechers.
SVonhof 3. I thought it was 2 as that is all I have used for the past 2+ years but I found another pair that I have now used the past 3 rounds. They are older, but leak free and have new insoles.
LBlack14 Sarnella good grief - some of you guys need to move to the Philippines. Why do you say that? I have a couple buddies who did. They say Phillipino (?) women love American men.
