Ok, I am rarely playing, am fat, out of shape, and can't hit an iron to save my life. FW woods and putting are strong, buy anything between my 7 wood and my putter is a disaster.

Thinking about getting an all hybrid bag. Debating between the Acer XDS and the Pinhawk SL Hybrids. I have seen some feedback on the Acers, but not much about a single length all hybrid bag.

Any feedback on the Acer setup vs the Pinhawk?

Or being more comfortable with the FW's, should I just go with the all PW Integra set?

A huge difference between the two as far as onset or offset. The XDS React hybrids are full onset like a wood. The Pinhawk SL hybrids are offset, or less onset to be precise. I would say the Reacts will be closer to a wood.

I think the thing to watch on the Integra set is the "SW" is 45° loft, with no higher lofts than that, whereas the other two have the SW at 55°.

In case u may want to buy vs build, Tour Edge sells full hybrid sets on their Hot Launch Hybrid Wood line.

DonM Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. I think that is the way to go, I have not seen any complaints outside of paint chipping

I have like new 5 & 6 React heads if you are interested in a cheap trial.
I won't ship with the USPS though, so UPS might cost a couple of bucks extra.

        DonM The XDS React hybrids

Acer XDS is also in a newer version with nice offset for those that like that stuff. I have the 4, 5, 6. Have only tried 1 head, 1 round, early in the summer. Seemed OK but I've pulled the shafts and gone another direction.

Thanks guys. I think before I do anything drastic, I'm going to head to the range and see if I can work out my iron issues.

Don, depending on how it goes, I might be back about the react. I never hit a regular hybrid with a darn, I try to sweep them like a wood. Which is why I am back to carrying a 7 wood. So any experiment would need to be more like a wood than hybrid

You can still buy high lofted fairway metals if that suits your swing better. I use a 7w and have been tinkering with an 11 wood as a 150y club.

Founders Club sells them cheap on eBay.

Super Concord fairway woods came in lofts up to a 23 wood me thinks.

I carry a 5, 7, and 9 wood (hit a green today from 160 yards with the 9!), and am also tinkering with an 11....no luck
so far, as the shafts I've tried in it are either too light or too heavy. Are you using the Founders Club 11? If so,
I'd be interested to know your impressions of it.....I'll keep messing around with the Brand X that I've got for now.

I have not ordered the Founders Club. They're $49.95 on eBay (new). I have an Adam's Ovation 11w.

Hard to find 335 shafts for short fairways and hybrids. Wishon has their hybrid shafts.
                  Other than that?

KZG CH-III 9 wood is 27 degrees, if you find one on eBay. I think there’s a listing right now that includes their 11 wood.

I am hoarding a set of 335 SE QSII hybrids 19 23 27 31. They build out about an inch shorter than corresponding fairways. If I could find good shafts as mentioned above, I’d shaft them up.
