According to the latest news, its going to get slower as the new head is tasked with reducing costs.

I placed an order with Hireko golf for a new putter grip and a Callaway adapter on July 4. They sent the invoice with the tracking number on July 7. No package.
If I go on the USPS web site and check the tracking, it says:
Pre-Shipment
July 7, 2020 at 1:36 pm
Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA 91745

So, Hireko is in SoCal, I am in the Central Valley (Ca) and it is now the 16th and I don't have my goods. I doubt that Hireko is holding onto my package, it has to be in the USPS hopper.

If you are going to use USPS it needs to be Priority. The days of cheap shipping are done. If you order the cheapest method $7.95 Flat Rate it's going to be week or more on average.

Hireko is notoriously slow when ordering online. Speak to a person on the phone when ordering.

A couple of months agoI bought an item on eBay and the date they promised on the sale listing guaranteed it'd be delivered a week after payment received. I paid immediately at the 'buy it now' price and the next day I received the same confirm as SVonhof. The post office being used was adjacent to the Cincinnati airport and I tracked the origin zip code of the shipper - also adjacent to the Cincy airport. They instantly created a shipping label but didn't 'pull' the merchandise, pack it, and get it down the street to the PO for 5 days. In my case, there is no doubt there was a backlog in the warehouse but darn if it didn't arrive on my porch 7 days after purchase.

SVonhof Pre-Shipment means USPS has sold Hireko the label, but the package hasn't scanned at a USPS facility yet, i.e. Hireko hasn't sent it. I've seen a few "WTF is going on with Hireko" posts around. Sounds like Hireko may be one person during COVID days.

SVonhof As DonM. stated in another thread, Hireko is slow. I talked this a.m. with my local 'supplier' 😂 , and he said he has been waiting a couple weeks on his orders, and he is a retailer. So, I doubt the P.O. has that package. I've had the same type tracking info given to me by several companies the past few weeks. They take the order/take the money, and then send out tracking, which is usually changed because labels are only good for a couple days after printing. I just got a package today(USPS) that I ordered 7/3, and had to contact the company about it a few days ago. Same deal...I got shipping info 5 days before actual shipping was done.

Go to 2 day or any expedited shipping and 9 times out of 10 you won't have any issues. It's the cheap shipping that's slow. No other way around it has been this way now for weeks/months.

Until Amazon is allowed to buy the post office, it will be trash. This case, probably not their fault. I have my own story to tell, but I’m not going to thread jack, suffice to say, I had to walk away to not cause a scene the last time I was there.

I just sold an $800 guitar. No way USPS is getting the shipping job. I'm even nervous using FedEx.

Yeah reduced shipping/free shipping is gonna be smart post/sure post .... Snail male. If you want it guaranteed.time to pony up. Keep this in mind when selling things to. What used to be 5$ small fr box and 6$ for 1# or less is NO MAS!

This just reminded me that with all the free shipping I've got in the past few weeks, no one has sent by this method; they've all gone Priority. hmmm...

Par4QC you are a lucky bastage.....maybe some big ticket items? Or sometimes the cost is same and they give you priority.....not that priority is much these days!

Sparky is right, it hasn’t shipped yet. We’ve picked up a ton of new business because component suppliers aren’t able to get anything out timely.

ode I've been buying so much that the packages now are just labeled "REX", no address/city/state, and they get to me on schedule, for the most part. I must be 'in the system', so to speak. 🤣

I just sold an $800 lens & sent it USPS signature required for delivery and they left it on the guy's front porch. Lucky there wasn't an issue with the condition of the box or porch-pirate theft.

I should have skipped them and gone through you, damnit. I never remember since I don't order much these days and I have used them for years.

@mgrin is waiting for his Vertex irons that I shipped 8 days ago. We live 100 miles apart. All it has showed is that it left my post office. I don't know what is happening but the wheels are coming off.

                ValueGolf
I would have used you but for the irons I wanted, you only list full sets. And I didn't want a full set.

Well I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks for a couple of packages, granted I'm in Canada but no updates for almost 10 days - I have no idea where my stuff is. USPS was bad early on in the pandemic and now it seems worse. I got stuff shipped via the cheapest method so probably another couple of weeks 😂

The package I spoke about, shipped July 9. has now made it to one of the suburban Chicago distribution centers. I need to take a pitchfork down to the local post office and find the postmaster.
