I think I enjoyed the fact that right next door was a bicycle factory. Brand new bikes rolling off the line, very nice for $18 U.S. dollars.... This guys rips up on a banged up bike, skids to a stop, beat up so bad you couldn't tell what color it EVER was, no kickstand, two completely different tires, one wheel had a distinctive curve in it. It rolled like Chevy Chases car after it was fixed by the two mechanics for "all the money he had". Upon skidding to a stop, he oh so carefully, he took out the two cases of caps and slams the bike to the sand and gravel driveway like it was a stray dog that just bit him on the ankle. I thought... That's why there is no paint on that thing anymore.
