I'm all over the map in my music but I always come back to classic Motown/Soul. That means Aretha Franklin, Isaac Hayes and Marvin Gaye

Translation from Danish:
The Sky Turned Black
Faithfully I walk
The moon so big
Fog embraces the forest floor
Wind is blowing through my hair
Leaves wither as I walk
Tell me father
In violence of the demon
Can you save me from the storm so cold
When you abandoned me for the underworld’s gate
My heart turned to stone, the sky became black
Only in the nighttime we emerge
Hidden in the darkness we have each other
In a world that is not for me
I can breathe only through you
Tell me father
The violence of demons
Can you save me from the storm so cold
When you abandoned me for the underworld’s gate
My heart turned to stone, the sky became black
My son, for some strange reason, alternates between AC/DC and other 80's rock, and country music. I've been listening to quite a bit of Chris Stapleton lately, which is alright with me. He has a Hank Williams Jr. rockabilly sound to his music that I like a lot.

Growing up in the late-70's and 80's, I definitely cling to that genre of music. Although, admittedly I do have an eclectic taste in music, love just about everything....
But this has always been one of my favorites. And Anderson East's vocals do indeed do the song justice. Eloquent, tasteful, and live... Live music is always better.
Another from Daryl's House. Starring Darius Rucker. One of my favs.
johnnydoom all good choices. What's so strange about that?

He's diverse. I listen to just about everything, but prefer metal and classic rock.
Nothing wrong with it - I like a little bit of everything myself. But he's the only kid in his age group (14) that I know that isn't focused on one style.
That means his daddy done good.
