Not a fan of the music videos in the 90's, but the music wasn't bad. Saw Ted Nugent live a few years before he collaborated in this one with Damn Yankees, he opened for Kiss that evening. Columbus, GA in 1988. I remember wearing out this one on my cassette deck.

Found out today that one of my best friends from school passed away. Sadly he overdosed on Heroin, 52 years of age. He and I would listen to Night Ranger in his '73 Chevelle SS on the weekends, out cruising for girls, not a care in the world. We stayed in touch for several years after I left home for the military, but his life veered sideways after the death of his father. He became a loner and a frequent guest in the county rehabs and penal system. He was a good friend, and I'm glad that the memories I have with him are fond ones. I heard this song today on the radio and thought of him immediately. He'll always be 'Crazy John' to me.

RIP, brother.
