DonM Please do review it. I was told to look into 18 Birdies, but haven't gotten around to it.
I found a winner! I did pull the trigger on Wegolf.club last year for $9.99 annually for unlimited number of golfers. It calculates individual handicaps for each player on BOTH USGA's Ghin and World Handicap System.
There is one slight hassle; one of the old farts plays the red (ladies) tees, 2 of us still play the member's tees, and the balance plays the senior tees. So, you must set up a course for each course you play and the corresponding tee boxes with the rating/slope. So, each Monday we use 3 "courses" for data entry even though we are playing together but using different tees. To enter scores, I have to pull up each course and then enter the individual scores for anyone on those sets of tees that day. Cumbersome but the guys like the printout that generates a scoring record of the date played, the course, and tee box. It's getting easier now that I have 12 weeks of scores entered. And, it carried over the records over the winter ezpz so it took off from where we ended last fall.
You just enter scores for the round and not hole by hole so I'm doing the skins game manually. But that is quick I've done it so many times for different events. I'm also reviewing the cards quickly to see if any of the cards have individual hole scores that jump out at me to adjust for ESC.
There's a free version of the software just by signing up and it keeps an individual handicap for you so that you get a hang for the data entry. There is no way I could replicate what I get for $10/year on any type of spreadsheet that I would have to design.
