Spuzz Eguller Seems like you have some pull, No actual pull, but I did get an inside the ropes tour of this beauty in 1993 or 1994 😉 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMCS_Toronto_(FFH_333)
Spuzz Also a tour of this oldy back in 1982 but spent more time in the bar drinking .50 cent rums. and I easily had the longest hair on the ship LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMCS_Athabaskan_(DDG_282)
Rickochet raggmann54 Actually it was Merthiolate that stung like fire and left a red stain. Mercurochrome looked like merthiolate and left a similar stain but did not have the sting. Merthiolate hurt worse than the injury.
Par4QC Rickochet The ever famous 'red medicine' as it was called around our area. I think my Mom had a 50 gal. drum of it, with a spigot; I remember being red most of my youth, esp. in the summers. 😂
Spuzz sdandrea1 I just rubbed dirt on it to clog the bleeding. Waste of time. Better to suck on it and save your blood. 😉
Mattyv azgreg 100% agree. My wife teaches kindergarten in an underprivileged neighborhood and the thought of her going back scares the shit out of me.
Par4QC Mattyv How does she feel about it? I'm assuming she chose this area, and could have taken a position in a much different situation, which would make her a unique person, and special.
Mattyv Par4QC She will go back if required. She does love teaching in that community. She specializes in students with English as their secondary language. Much more respect from the parents in that community as opposed to the area we live in. It is hard to teach 5 year olds online. 99% of the teachers wish they could go back, but only if it is safe. In AZ safe is not happening right now.
