My son and I set up a heavy duty plastic tarp between two trees in our backyard (years ago). We'd stand close enough to ensure we couldn't miss. Problem is the tarp was a bit worn in a few spots (from camping use) and he blasted a ball with a driver right thru the tarp across the street and into a neighbor's siding. End of tarp method.

After a few drives I had a rip. Moved over a bit and hit 7 iron for an hour and then another rip.

I hung a pad on the backside just in case. I have a tarp that I might put up. It’s heavy though. It is great, just need something to harness my power😎

meagain As great as that looks, is there a reason you don’t just use a grass area? I know it would get a little beat up, but you could just fill in with a seat mixture like they have on carts, and the more I type, the more I realize why you just did the turf box. Nice job!

Taki27 I do hit off the grass a lot, but my lawn slopes downhill some. Not many places for a level lie. Have to get a dozer out here sometime and push some of the field up towards my home. The mat works great and you can definitely work on your swing. Beside that , it is one of the high quality mats that you can hit irons off of and get feedback close to real grass.

meagain that’s awesome. I can’t even imagine having that much property. I am on a 60’ by 100’ property. I can’t even hit full wedges with foam balls without hitting them into my neighbors yard.

Cutting the grass must be awesome... silence with nobody bothering you for 10 hours
