Pretty sure that my heater core let go last night. I was coming home, dragging a trailer up a grade, and suddenly I smell hot coolant, then my windshield fogged up. Looks like that is gonna run me $140ish just for the heater core. Then I'll get to remove the dash to be able to replace it.
I'm thinking about bypassing the heater core for a while and get a few quotes on getting both the heater core done, and redo the a/c at the same time. Factory heater core from '08. I think I got my $$$ out of it.
