Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

VigilanteTrail A lot of forums give you a title when you hit certain levels. It was always fun to go on and look at the post rankings. He doesn’t do that here. We need to see what Papa D is at!!

I started on FGI in 2001 and I had close to 20K posts and I think I was in the top 5 when it closed. PapaD was a newbie and really climbed fast to 10K. I am sure he would have been near the top by now. I think Rory from Pigfart was the top FGI poster.

sdandrea1 Daughter #3 (DHS) decided to take the deal. She can defer her retirement and now has 8 months with pay to find her next gig.

I chickened out and didn’t take the deferred resignation/early out deal…hope I don’t kick myself later over the decision.

Well…if they wouldn’t have made our unit convert weapon systems like 12 yrs ago that balloon would not have made it out of this State…LOL!

Oh and I fixed it for ya…I decided to quit hunting about 30 years ago…just buy beef by the 1/4 from a local rancher 80 miles away

I was pretty close to doing it since I also qualified for the VERA offered in conjunction with it…but I would have had to wait 4 more years before beginning to receive the annuity supplement…if I was 3 years older I think I would have pulled the trigger

VigilanteTrail Will be interesting to see the inefficiencies in DOD, my program is not efficient and the domino impact to fed civilians take early out thinking the contract world will pick up. At least in the DC area, lots of options.

As you do, having a security clearance is very handy.
