Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Walterjn I'll sharpen it, but yeah a pretty good one probably 8 penny common. I buy chains pretty cheaply so I don't mind getting a 4 pk for this saw.

I still remember an old guy saying that at a volleyball tournament we played in. I use that line all the time. I'm working on it with one artificial hip. We have guys in our basketball league that have two knee replacements and a hip or two.

Woke up to 5" of snow and no power (someone hit a pole). Hooed up the generator and then proceeded to get out the snow blower...got it going and the auger belt fell off. Cleared most of the driveway and one of the tires lost it's seal. Honestly, I spend more time working on my snow blower than using it.

Picking up the wife at her work dinner. It’s a stones throw from indoor golf. I put my shit in the car to go hit some balls for an hour while I wait for her to be done. I’m 3/4 of the way there and she texts me they are wrapping it up. Fuckin A…. So much for “John Time.”…. Again…

My wife is having her club’s Christmas party here at noon, so I’m gonna clear out !!! Going to take 10 years’ worth of documents to be shredded, then up to Components Plus in SE Michigan to pick up some clubmaking supplies….

Yeah, their components are almost identical to Hireko, Value Golf, etc. In their store, which is adjacent to The Legacy Golf Club, they also have a Ping fitting cart and sell some clothing, bags, shoes, box sets, and other golf-related stuff. I usually stop in every time we play at The Legacy, but it’s a convenient drive (about 25 minutes from home) when I need to get something in a hurry. In this case, I just wanted to get out of the house to avoid my wife’s hen party….!!! (I’m home now, in the basement, and I can hear them still going strong upstairs, LOL !!!!)

Well, I got to the course this morning about 7:30 ready to walk mow as soon as it warmed up. Turns out someone decided to not mow anything all week. Boss said the greens are fast and running about a 10. Looks like we're just decorating one tree with lights, damn tree is about 25' tall and we don't have a ladder or man lift to get that high.

fatshot Local store here is like that. Mainly Hireko, but now has added Tour Edge and Cleveland clubs. Always a lot of used clubs on consignment; I've done that myself and we both made money. He's been there for 25 years and we are definitely on a 1st name basis. 🤣

IF he had used OEM clubs, I’d be shopping there more often !!!!! Today he had two new sets of Ping irons (1 graphite, 1 steel), and one each of the Acer series of irons (High Trajectory, Standard, and Acer Professional), a set of Dynacraft Prophet in both cavity and muscleback, and then a ton of drivers, wedges, and putters. The guy who runs the place is kind of a grump, but he has a couple of ladies behind the counter who are pretty friendly to deal with…...
