Work, then the grocery store. I have something weird going on with the new ride's windows I need to sort out. I have to try to fit in a trip to my FFL this weekend. Tomorrow it's back to work for an open house event and then a micro brewery or 2.

Sold the old house last night. On the market for 2 days and got over asking price. House was showed 5 times in those two days with 3 showings scheduled for Saturday.

Our agent told us to take the deal due to it being a very good contract and the buyer wanted an answer last night. 😁

Hopped on the ZTR this morning and mowed all the tall weeds/grass....this stuff must grow about 2" a day.
Watch some Prez Cup, then go out and play 18 holes this afternoon.
After about 1pm our course is usually wide open, plus the weather has finally cooled down to about mid 80's!👍

Work. Watching mucho rain fall all day. Went to Costco. Made loaded potato soup for supper (my daughter's favorite). Daughter and boyfriend have highjacked my TV, so sitting here at the laptop posting and watching YouTube videos to get ideas for the next horror movie to watch. Man am I going to have some tall grass and weeds to mow after it dries out enough.

I cancelled my appointment at Costco 30 miles away due to the weather yesterday. It was a good call. I went to my local Krogers instead and the short time inside the store the weather totally changed. The wind jumped to 40-50 mph with monsoon rain driving sideways. I got home and my two trash/recycle carts were turned over in my grass. Trash and cans were everywhere. So like Cantore, I am out in this nasty stuff picking up trash and cans before it blew further away. This morning the wind is down to under 20 but still raining as a front has stalled up against the remains of Helene. Looks like the same for the next few days. On lights flickered on and off all day but only went out once for about a half hour. It was no fun here but I can't imagine how it was down south in FLA and the Carolina's where they really got hit.

This is the first house I’ve ever lived in that has a metal roof (mostly shingled but areas of metal). It sounded like it was blowing off there when all that was going on. Serious wind speed yesterday afternoon!

Last night Mrs. Fatshot and I participated in "Alumni Band Night," a tradition at the local high school that we attended and where I taught. Re-acquainted with many of my former students, and was voted "Most Likely to Require CPR," LOL. Great fun!! (PS.....I'm the TALL one!)
