In the office today, but yesterday's activity was both frustrating and kind of funny.
Went to DMV with mom to get car title transferred from FL to CT. They won't do it because the title has Mom AND Dad's name. If it was Mom OR Dad's name then it would be ok. WTF Dad's deceased, we have the death cert and mom is right here. Doesn't matter we need paperwork stating she fully controls his "estate". I mean it's a 2018 Toyota RAV4 hybrid, really? Called lawyer and he laughed, but it was probably a money making laugh. Have to go back once we have more paperwork.
Went to Social Security with mom. Had an appointment. Get there maybe 10 minutes early, they tell us the appointment is for them to call her. Nowhere on the letter does it say that. We all even re-read it later to be sure. Okay they have her cell as the # so we sit and wait. No call. Go back to desk and say you didn't call so please give us an appt now. Of course they say they can't do that, but I guess we looked p*ssed so they met with us lol.
