Just worked on eight day stretch at the hospital. Swore to myself once, that I was not going to do that anymore, just to get a couple days off in a row. It's too much. Boy, healthcare has changed. After 30 years in it, I have seen a lot and its not all good. That's for another thread.
Having my bathroom gutted and redone with a walk in shower starting this week. Its my wife's last big project that she wants done. Since we have only one working toilet, the contractor assures us he will hook it up every night. Now for showers, my wife and sister in law want to stay in a local motel. I can take showers at work. Hopefully, all goes well and it is done in 8-10 days as he predicted. I am going to buy a toilet this morning. I looked at Toto, what one plumbing store pushes. Felt it was plasticy and gimmicky. Leaning toward Koehler comfort height that we have always had without any problems.
I'm also taking my 87 year old mom to my optician. She has macular degeneration and having issues with the prescription issued glasses she got at Walmart. My optician is a magician. He will figure out something better for her. Next, I have to talk her into hearing aides. That TV of hers is getting louder every time I come over. She is stubborn though.
