Typhoon Around here, courses charge minimal for carts; their money comes from green fees, probably because of all the walkers. State golf mandate says they may charge extra when separate carts are requested; not sure if that means they HAVE to give separate carts, but you're not supposed to be doing things (closely) unless living under the same roof. Jake and I went to my usual course a few weeks ago and I almost got into it with their manager, when he questioned the 2 carts. He was a complete ass about it, and got half mad. The damn lot was full of carts, and I could see 3-4 carts on some holes already. I've not been back since, and may never go there again. They have been breaking every rule/mandate from day one, about clubhouse use, carts, no rakes/ball washers, etc., but esp. the mask.....no one inside uses them, never have. And in this county/area, where there are now over 7000 cases, with 100 deaths, I no longer feel safe at that place. I've started going elsewhere where things are as they should be, and everyone is treated with respect, as to their wishes. They also do charge extra for the 2 carts, but they smile when doing it, and no questions asked. The way of a good business.....customer service--customer is always right.
Your course John, is a bad business......where apparently, the customer is ALWAYS wrong.
