Having a tap box installed for our solar. Duke Energy needs to come to shut off the power.

It’ll be a distraction after losing our 15 year old cat Tiger this past weekend. We’re beyond sad.

He gave us so much happiness. He was special. Just a sweet gentle baby boy who will be missed greatly.

Cellphone gremlins today. I have been fighting my cellphone all morning and couldn't make any outgoing calls. Got a few messages but that was it. I was trying get some appointment issues taken care of but my phone refused. I could dial a number but I could never here it ring. Dial my house or wife's phone and nothing. I checked the usual suspects like airplane mode and all seemed ok. I did an internet search on my PC and it suggested even if it shows airplane mode is turned off to turn it on then back off again. I did that and it worked. Sumbitch. My phone is a Motorola G Play 2023 and I did a search for that specific phone. Not sure if the problem is phone specific but it worked. 🙃

Going out to mow the weeds. 90 degrees, max. humidity, unable to mow for two weeks due to the rain. This is going to be ugly.

Hung a flat screen TV on a wall, hung another on a stand, lowered a Queen size bed by swapping out the box springs for plywood, spent 2 hours clearing out a portion of the woods behind our new house. Getting closer to being able to see the river.

Not a good week for golf. Working every night to make it at least 11 in a row. Course is closed Monday and Friday this week for outings, Tuesday I have an all day TM event. Wednesday it’s going to rain and Thursday I have lessons to do. Almost forgot, probably no gym this week plus I have a day job😔

Looks like big thunder storms here everyday. The weatherman called the humidity levels this week as "jungle weather." Do much of anything here outside and you get swamp ass in minutes. 😓

We got to play golf in Feb. for the 1st time in history. I've only got 24 rounds in so far. Mostly due to rain/storms/heat/humidity/course damages. And there is no play this week. Storms/heat/humidity/storms/heat/humidity.

Storms continue to roll through us. The corn in this area is pretty nice. lol Especially compared to last year going through that drought. Mother Nature is probably a forum member here….and loving it. 😬
