Well, I think I just figured out how to F.L.O. a golf shaft. I undid the 3 screws that held the clamp onto the shaft puller. Then I put that clamp into the bench vice. To create the pattern on the wall, I used a laser bore sight tool, and for the weight, I used an old drill chuck.
I did blow a grip on the shaft before clamping in the shaft clamp. I put a little masking tape on the butt end so I could do that.
I will say that the HOF shaft i did seems to be really good, yet it does have 2 spot on flat patterns. On opposite sides of the shaft. The Excalibur shaft I tried 1st had 2, 90• apart.
No, I didn't find the spine 1st, haven't built a spine finder...
