Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Par4QC I had the 80 gram Dobbyn Gamer. Solid shaft… wish I still had it

Like the OG Sadlowski shaft as well. Another one I look for. I had a couple ULtra LD’s but they were too stiff.

Typhoon Mine was 81gr. X X flex, and maybe 1 of the best shafts I ever used. That was back when I could pick up 81++ gr.. Had an 8* 919 head playing at 46.5".
The Sadlowskis were nice also with the higher bend points. They did keep the ball lower. Not like today's high bend shafts....it's just words on a page.

Subbing on a team in our club's monthly scramble. $22 gets me 18 holes on a shitty team with inadequate handicap, only to get 12th place because the top 11 teams all went 25 under par (nobody cheats 🙄) and a free cold sub, chips and a diet Coke. Can't wait.

I say it this way in hopes that my day will actually go better.......

Typhoon Power is back this afternoon. We've been out since early Thursday A.M. running the house intermittently with an 8000k generator. This is the only time I can remember losing cell service.

Says 52 degrees but feels much colder with the wind.
It’s one of my favorite times of the year. April is big trash pickup in my town. Piling stuff near the curb for people or the town to remove.
Also, preparing to start playing golf more regularly next week.

Made a trip to Charleston today, ate at the famous Hymans seafood restaurant. Walked around the market street shops. Very nice area

Drove 2.5 hours down to the condo at Hilton head. It’s sort of in the middle of the Shipyards golf course.

I've got 21 sittin here.

Some c'ksucker on FB decided to steal my design and undercut the hell outta my price. Selling on FB and Ebay. And his looks like total shit, completely unfinished. Then there are the usual Chinamen that are flooding Ebay with clamps with all different prices...but the same damn clamps, all cheaper than mine.

Friday, 4/12/2024....they will learn a lesson, Esp. that fuck on FB.
I gave a spine finder design thief a taste a few years ago. Bitter.😉

Installed new front shocks on my beastie... that was a pain in the ass... shocks are located right beneath the battery trays.. no idea as to HOW to remove the battery trays... and seeing how I'm not a mechanic and it is my truck, I just used a hole saw to clearance the trays so I can gain access easily.
After that i went and play 9 holes. Got involved in a 4 man team scramble. My team had 3. So we would take turns playing the 4th player. We finished at -2. The other team finished at even.
After that 3 of us went around again. We played the 1st 3 holes as the score card shows them. On the 4th hole, we teed off from there and finished on the 5th green. It made for an interesting hole. A 'proper' par 4, compared to the downhill 215 yard par 4 that hole #4 is.
I didn't do all that well... I had a good time with good company.
I did get a heck of a compliment afterward. I was told by one of the guys working there that I'm the best nonemployee employee. He also said that the Mondays and Wednesdays I don't show up, that he's bummed, but not mad.
I really do love my little course.
I also got to talk to him about learning how to run a fairway mower, and a walk mower for the greens.

Walterjn Playing “cross country “ golf is fun. Me and my friends used to do it at night before dark when nobody was out there. Tee off on 1 and play to 8 green. Tee off on 9 and play to 6 green etc… it was a blast.

So you have a 215 yard par 4? Why is it a par 4?
