Got a couple inches of wet heavy crusty snow. Now we have 30-50 mph winds. Funny to think I worked at the course the other day.

Today I’ll stay local, hit the gym, 3 accounts. Maybe work at indoor golf tonite. I have a guy maybe going there to look at the TW irons I’m selling.

Not going to shovel anything other than the deck for the dogs, let it melt by Sunday.

Saw the snow so left for work early. Heated steering wheel in the car decided not to work today 😡 Was making decent time until I got through Hartford where traffic normally lets up and came to a dead stop due to multi car accident. 2 lanes still open but idiots are stopping to take pics. I think police should be be allowed to put a bullet hole in your car for rubbernecking. Maybe that would relieve some of their anger?

Roads didn't seem too bad, but cars all over the place. Get into work and power cuts out around 9:30. Backup power keeps internet going for a while. Then we are moving UPS's around to keep internet. Power comes back around 11:30...guess I need to stop scrolling on my phone and do some work.

Typhoon I thought about working from home, but I usually do that Fridays. I hate to wfh 2 days in a row because I seem to need to stand in some of my coworkers doorways to get them to do something. Currently hoping I can play some golf this weekend, but I hate golfing when it's below 50*

That’s April. March everyone thinks because they don’t see snow they are all set. So March is cold. April comes around, temps come up but everyday is the 236 mph wind that no matter the temp… who wants to play in that either

Surgery was at 9:30 this morning. Doc said all went well. Eye is still dilated with patch still on so can't tell much at this point. This one was the better of two eyes. I hope this one turns out as good as the first. Go back for post op visit tomorrow. My wife was sick this morning and I had to scramble for a back up driver. Called my bud who I took to both of his cataract surgeries and he was available. I hope this is all over. I just got out the drops bottle. Three times in left eye and 4 in right today. I am going through Kleenex by the case.

Crazy weather.....I went out this morning and mowed (on foot) for about 30 minutes. Came in, ate lunch, then the sun came out....decided to go back out and mow some more. While I'm mowing a few sleet-like pebbles came down, but then it cleared up and sun came back out, so I did the whole yard. Now I'm in, and it's raining!!!! Good old spring

Typhoon Used to be we'd suffocate here in the summer, no wind/breeze. Last several years, I've thought Oklahoma had been pushed North East!! 15 mph is now the norm for this area. Even on a calm day.😄

They have some good videos on you-tube on cataract surgery. What I had was laying on my back with my head strapped down. It was done by an ophthalmologist doing hands on surgery. They break the old lens into pieces and suck it out and insert a new synthetic lens. This is done through a very small slit in the eye that does not require stitches. I don't know if any of this is mechanized other than some fancy optical device he uses for visual magnifications. I also got astigmatism correction and eye drain cleaned out. Took about 20 minutes per eye (at different times). Minimal discomfort and I was "relaxed" by a pill and watched and listened to the doc during the procedure. After it was over they took me back to the prep/recovery area and sent me home. You are still a little woozy and need a driver to get you home. There might be other more mechanized procedures but this was at a brand new Ophthalmology Surgery Center the Dr. built attached to his office building.
