Ok. I got the fuel pump installed, and everything works, and the truck runs very nicely now.
I did take a small chunk out of my left index finger. Here's the top of the tank, with the new fittings. 
The 2 lockon (with the yellow plastic rings) are both 1/2" inside, the one with the straight one is the return from the tank. The one with the 90° is my suction side, 5/8"i.d. PTFE tube about 17.5" down to about 1/2" from the bottom of the tank.
The other 2 are fuel return from the engine, and the tank vent.

This is the bottom of the fuel pump looking up. The right side is the inlet, and on the left, the black hose is the return to the tank, and the blue one is the hose to the injection pump.
Here is the plug that I rewired for my benefit, cut two wires, soldered the one I cut off the end to the one next to it, that way I could use the other end to solder to the 12v hot from the stock pump.
