Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

We are having our traditional New Year's Day dinner of smoked sausage, cabbage and potatoes boiled in a big pot with a silver dime in the pot for financial good luck during the year. We fish the dime out before we start serving. Corn bread also included.

Scooped the backyard, hung out with the boy, bled the brakes in the Tundra, spent some time ordering glasses, smoked a couple of steaks, eating leftover lasagna.

Daughter, SIL, and 2 teenaged granddaughters came for a late Christmas.....they were dealing with Covid, etc. last week. So we had a late Christmas with them last night, then saw in the new year. After they left today, Mrs. Fatshot and I took down the tree and all the Christmas decor. I'll put it in the attic tomorrow.

Looks like I didn't miss anything by not watching today's earlier bowl games, but settling in now to watch Michigan-Alabama in the Rose Bowl!

We went to my MIL’s assisted living apt. to start cleaning it out. We got all the clothes out and donated, boxes up the tv to return ( we bought her a new one that was hooked up but never used). Cleaned out closets, bureaus… got a lot done in a few hours. Looks like the next 2 weekends will be filled finishing that up.

New Years I wanted to spend more time on myself and not being ordered around by everyone else. Looks like maybe 2025 on that one🙄

Thank you. This was one of the several purchases my wife made from BIDFTA. She got this drop and lock laminate flooring for less then a $1 a square foot.

Well, today after I spent the morning running a backpack blower over the entire course. All tee boxes, knock down the gopher hills, blow the trimmed grass out of the bunkers....
I came home and took a table apart so I can glue part of it back together. After that I went back to the course, with every intention of just going to the range. I got involved in a 4 man team scramble. My team won $5.00 each. Then I got to hit the range.
My range time started with my 6 iron. I was hitting balls about 140-150 with a smooth swing. I put on those aero swing pineapples and only worked on swinging smoothly. It was definitely a change when I pulled them off.

Sounds like a nice job you got. I got a job as a mechanic at a course when I was 22. That’s when I took up the game. 😀

I am eating my daily ration of yogurt (Yoplait Fruit). The enablers here have gotten me into a daily ritual to support gut probiotics. The next thing you know I will be eating Grape Nuts. 🤣

Rickochet Chobani is way better. Aldi makes a great greek yogurt as well.

I tried Chobani and didn't like it. I shopped once at Aldi and didn't like it either.

I like Oikos Zero sugar vanilla with some light fruit topping or granola. Seems to do the trick.

That’s crazy how Menards has built and built over the past several years on a grocery department. It used to be like just an isle of candy with work gloves on the other side. lol
