Had to go back to the Dermatologist for a more in depth biopsy on my nose. The pathologist said the original sample was inconclusive. My doctor said 80 percent of the time the second pathology show’s positive for carcinoma.
Now I have stitches in my nose for 10 days, most likely only to get them removed and then he goes back in at a later date. 😏
If we weren’t in an assembly line doctors office visit business model he could take a few minutes to look at the biopsy himself (which he does when using the Mohs method surgery) and do the removal right then and there. But nope for the biopsy it gets sent out.
He has several nurses that take patients in different rooms and he has his appointments in 10 minute intervals. And of course I asked if it is positive could I get an appointment before the end of the year. Because I’ve satisfied my deductible.
When he left the room the nurse said no, that all the appointments for December were taken. However, they got me in today only a day after they got the pathology result. 🤔
