Just watched my alma mater Kentucky (unranked) knock off Louisville #10 38 - 31 in their annual rivalry played in Louisville. Kentucky just recently legalized sports betting. I'll bet that there are some red asses in Louisville tonight. Go Kats. 🤣

Day 2 of our biannual Florida swing. Flew in yesterday. Today was Universal’s Island of Adventure. Our first time in Universal. Harry Potter’s Wizarding World is awesome. The rest…Disney lite. One more day of Universal, then a day at each of the Disney parks with couple off days for the pool! No golf this trip though. Pray for my wallet!

Stayed home, watched church online. Been working on tying more shirts. I got some dye on 3 last night.
Been chatting online with a young lady about shirts. She says she's wanting to meet and learn how I do some of this...
As soon as a couple of shirts dry a bit after the soda ash soak, I'll be tying a few up for her.

Home from Nashville. Spent a lot of money to spend time with my sisters and entertain my wife. Everyone had a good time and there was no drama. Ate too many carbs and my hip was killing me this morning. Should get better as I ween off the carbs. Taking tomorrow off and then back to the grind. Just decompressing from the drive home now.

Started on our master bathroom a couple days ago. Got the floor down and grouted. Then laid the penny tiles in the shower base. Today I did the shower curb.

Just wrapped up another mediation. Nice settlement in 3.5 hours. With the 2 remaining scheduled, I'll have 25 cases this year, which is about double my average annual workload.

I'm not quite sure what's going on. Since I'm a contractor and only fill in when the Navy can't get a Navy-employed mediator, it just might be that the demand is up. In a lot of my cases, I'm acting as a mentor for a trainee who is finishing the certification process. I don't think there are very many mentors available to cover the number of new mediators graduating from the training.
