Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

I know at our course (only semi-private) if the spots aren't filled, the pro will put in the names of members that usually go for fittings and buy. Some will of course show up, but others aren't even aware they were signed up. Could just be a thing at our crazy little course though lol.

Just a proud papa post: My 8 and 10 y/o boys are on the same baseball team which I help coach. Last night we won 4-3. My 10 y/o hit a 3 run HR in the top of the 6th to put us up. In the bottom of 6 (we play 6 innings), he came in to pitch with 1 out, no one on, and the top of the other team’s lineup up. He struck out the first guy and walked the next, brining up their 3 hitter (one of the best hitters in the league). The guy smoked a rocket grounder to 2B (where my 8 y/o - who playing up a league) was playing. He made a nice backhand attempt and missed, but did knock the ball down. Had it gotten through it’s likely that it would have went to the fence (out OFers are bad) for a game winning hit (both runners would have scored). My 10 y/o then struck out their cleanup hitter to end the game. This is one I’ll remember for a long time! (Thanks for indulging my pride, please head back to your regularly scheduled day!)

Jelopster Your post brings back many pleasant memories to me, as I coached my kids too (in both
baseball and basketball). My wife and I comment occasionally that during the season coaching is time
consuming, sometimes you have to deal with unpleasant parents, etc., but OTOH, we wouldn't have given
up those years coaching our kids for all the money in the world! Our kids still talk about those memories fondly as well. Keep up the good work...!!!

Just finished moving 7.5 cu yds of topsoil.

Yard work. It's finally warm enough to put in some decorative plants. We always wait until Mother's Day weekend. Had to clear a bunch of grown-over gutter pop-ups and irrigation heads too.

Made a couple more jump standards, rebuilt one, and ran out of driver bits... still have one more to rebuild. Cleaned up my clubs in preparation for tomorrow. A buddy invited me and a few other out to his home course for his birthday. Only thing left for me to do today is shower and shave.

Saturday:
Attended Division 1 men's lacrosse first round NCAA tourney game, Virginia vs Richmond. That was fun ! We got closer to the action and got an appreciation for the intricacies of the game.

Today:
Back to moving dirt which is playing havoc on my golf game.

I guess I'll just hang out at home, watching golf and IMSA racing on TV. Had a MRI done on my back Friday. I won't know how that turned out until May 23rd when I go to see the back specialist/surgeon. I don't want to miss another whole season of golf. I hope it gets better without surgery this time. It's better than it was a week ago but still having pain. The PA that I saw at Orthopedic Institute's Urgent Care prescribed a steroid pack and muscle relaxers. They helped quite a bit. Yesterday I went the whole day without my back brace but today I'm back using it. My back is stiff and sore today. I guess I overdid it.

Dump run, poop scoop, put a couple of chicken breast and some venison on the smoker, downed a few hardwood trees, cut some of it to stove length, washed the cars, ordered a rear hatch latch for the SUV (broke yesterday), sitting watching some golf for awhile.

Son and 3 1/2 year old grandson drove over from Cleveland for Mother's Day. Had fun following the grandson
around the yard. He's not old enough to play catch yet, but he's interested. This grandpa would like to
attend some Little League games in the coming years....!!!

Lots of yardwork today. I rototilled the garden, mowed the lawns and did some general puttering around in the yard.

Taking the wife to the Chiropractor, screws up me getting any work done. By the time I get back I won’t have time to get to the stores I need to get to. Working in the pro shop later on until close.

Work. Putter around in the garden, maybe plant some Honeydew melon and Armenian cucumbers. Weed the tomatoes. Have some long conversations with Wumbo the kitten. I'm not sure what he's saying, but he likes to talk a lot for some reason.

In the office. Drove the wife's car after changing the transmission fluid yesterday and the surging seems to be gone. I spent 2 hours cleaning it yesterday (it could use another 2 hours of cleaning 🤢) and figured I'd give it a highway ride since it's been sitting. Still basking in the glow of breaking 80 for the first time since 2009 lol.

Got an offer on my TM combo p770/MC/P7-TW irons…. Contemplating. I haven’t used them, thought I would. I can make a nice profit.

Typhoon I guess if you're not using them and can make a few $$ then you might as well sell them. That was the dream set at a good price though right?
