Sold our Jeep today. 2010 Wrangler Sahara with 38k miles on it. Got $21k. Now we need to find the wife a new car. Looking for a convertible. Wish me luck.

Mattyv The newer car market is still pretty tough. I just listened yesterday to what my sister just went through trying to trade in/buy new. AND best wishes on your wife's recovery and life moving forward.

I think we found a car. 2007 VW EOS with 43k miles on it. Couldn't find a dent or a scratch on it at all. Hardtop convertible with a 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder engine. Used prices are still high but this one is listed at the going rate.

colej I’m an SEC fan, but I do believe Ohio State represents a much bigger threat to Georgia than USC would have, assuming the positions stay the same after today’s games.

It could be very interesting. The Big 10 has a lot to gain and a lot to lose. An all Big 10 final or national championship by either team would be terrific for the conference. A loss to TCU, or both OSU and Michigan falling to Georgia back-to-back would be devastating. TCU somehow winning would be a total shock to the system.

Although unlikely, Michigan losing could send them out and I could see TCU staying in the top 4 if they lose to K St.

LBlack14 a golf buddy of mine had to change his diet due to gout. On the plus side he lost a ton of weight.

ode TCU, unless they just totally implode. Committee doesn’t want to risk a repeat of last year’s final. I think Bama is likely better than TCU, but I think they’ve had a bad enough season that the committee welcomes the opportunity for someone different.

So He’ll DID freeze over, I got a set of last years Taylormade irons for a steal! Combo set of p770 4,5 irons, PMC 6,7 irons and the p7TW 8,9 and P. All with KBS Ctaper shafts. Stupidly good condition. I love millennials that need immediate gratification amd no value for money.

Nick show tonite in Allston. Parking will suck, hopefully the rain stops or that’ll be a lousy ride.

Sitting along side the road on a parade route an hour and a half before the lead will pass through. Even though we’re in podunk MS, my wife thinks it’s important to be here early for a “good” spot. Fortunately it’s a pretty nice day, although a bit windy. Daughter should be marching by with the band in about 2 hours.

Cleaning out the basement. Threw away a bunch of pullouts. Just found an old leather bag. In good shape but will also probably be in the trash soon. Found enough good stuff to make a backup set.

Mattyv Just a heads up. My son bought a VW Passat about that same vintage last year. He found out too late that it only ran on PREMIUM gas instead of regular. He just sold it a few weeks ago. It's a question worth asking.....

Most of the cars we are looking at are premium required. Based on my wife's driving habits, it will not be a big deal. She put less than 5k miles on her last vehicle in 1.5 years.

Today it's check on the barn, and head home. Then I get to drive the parents down to Sherman Oaks for my nephew's birthday party. He turns 4 tomorrow.
