Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

My favorite entertainment if I have to go shopping with my wife is to watch while she is looking at something and If I see people are walking toward us and sneak a big nasty silent fart then walk to the next aisle and wait for the people to hit the SBD and think my wife did it. I call it a drive by pooting. 😝

Today I am going to mix and pour some concrete for some handrail posts. Since I have limited strength in my left arm I am going to try using some concrete mixing bags so I don't have to mix it in a pan with a rake. The video makes it look easy. The store loaded up some 40lb. bags of mix in my truck so all I have to do is mix on the tail gate, drag the mixed bag off and dump it in the form.

Going to hook the lawn sweeper up to the lawn tractor and pick up the ton of leaves that fell over the
weekend. I'll throw some in the garden, then dump the rest in a pile out by the street to be picked up
by the city. One of my favorite chores, b/c it gives Mrs. Fatshot the impression that I'm doing something
without me having to actually work very hard....!!! 🤣

Finally picked up my car today; only 7 weeks to get it fixed. Inventory at work as we are closing our fiscal year.

Thank you for all the well wishes for my dad. He actually left hospital Friday night, but then went back in Saturday morning. His vitals are pretty good, but his punctured lung didn't quite close and re-inflate the way they'd hoped. He may go home later today if all goes well.

Weed eating chores at Church. The crew that I'm a part of cuts the grass while I'm away in VA all Spring/Summer, but they don't run the weed trimmer! Took me all morning to catch up from 6 months of letting all the edges grow. I'm tired, but it's done

Oh, they know how to run the string trimmer. The deal is (and I get it), the months I am gone (and not helping) it's a bazillion degrees with humidity as thick as molasses. Once they get the grass cut (HUGE lot), they're toasted. I don't mind. I can keep it trimmed pretty easy now that I've caught up.

sdandrea1 Yeah but you let that edge go for too long and it takes a lot to get it back to where you want it. I keep a straight edge along the driveway and sidewalk and you gotta keep on it.

Therin lies my woe. I'm going to use the edger attachment to cut along the sidewalks and curbs, them I'll have something easy to maintain.

sdandrea1 That’s the way to go…I turn the string trimmer upside and cut the edge that way. It’s tiring. I did a nice job the other day along my paver walkway before I put down the sand.

The trimmer we have has a steel cutting wheel for sidewalk edging. I'm gonna try it.
