Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Dump run, changed the oil in the commuter, washed the stinky boy, painting the window sash from the kid's room, watching football, waiting for the driver...fedex changed the delivery date to today...who knows?

Yeah those are fun to change, just don't get a Moen g/d they are noisy as hell.
Also while you're at it I'd change those shut off valves to 1/4 turn ball valves.

sdandrea1 Yee Haw! Had to do that a couple of years ago. Learned that it's not easy for an old guy to lay on back, reach in under cabinet, support new unit with one hand while guiding the locking ring to place with the other. Was wishing I had a small scissor jack or something like that. Hope it goes easy for you.

Vacation Day. Sunny with a predicted high of 81. Heading to a course about 40 minutes away that I haven't played in about 13 years. I used to have a buddy on the north side of town and would meet him at this course, but I haven't been back to it since he moved away.

I like those better too, but l learned not to fool with water connections unless their broken. 🤬

Years ago I changed all of my valves to 1/4 turn. I also replaced the nipples with brass. annually when I change smoke alarm batts I also go around the house and close and open all the valves to keep them from sticking.

Thanks Johnny! YouTube video had some great tips. Hardest part was as you said. I don't see how plumbers can work past the age of 40. Have to be the size of a horse race jockey. So glad these things are easy install. Ice makers too.

I got nothing good. Worked 8-11 indoor golf, came home had a sandwich, ran around the yard with the dogs, down in the pro shop now 12-close.

Today I got to take 3 to Sacramento area. Left home about 2:30am, left the barn about 4.
After dropping off the horses and everything else at the show, I headed to Sonora, CA to pick up a pair of large stall mats for the 6 horse trailer. As much as I like to support local businesses, I ended up picking up 2 way far from home because I ended up paying less for both than I would have for one at home. The shop at home wants $130.00 + tax for one mat. The place I went to in Sonora I spent $118.50 of the boss's money for 2 mats.... Then I drove home, dropped the mats off at the barn. I'm currently in winding and laying in bed. Only been up since just before 1am, and it's 9:40 pm here...
