when you see pop outs and right in the center of that pop there’s a rock, I’ve heard of that being contaminated rock. It’s not a hard rock more of a softer stone and it contracts. Could even be where they’re using reclaimed rock (using old broken up concrete in the mix).
of course road salt is also a concrete killer.
