Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

After being in lock down for a month after breaking my left arm the warden granted me parole. Using the steering wheel knob I installed I drove my Tacoma to get a hair cut then to Krogers. No issues at all driving with one arm. I had a minor delay when I found the battery dead (left dome light on). Getting the hood propped up one handed took some thought. A quick charge took care of it. It was nice to get out for a bit. Going to get together with my golf buds tomorrow and get my BS level recharged 😁

Had our last Junior High softball game today. Won 12-0 to finish off a perfect 20-0 season! I'm very fortunate to have a lot of really talented girls, and seem to get more every year. We were 22-1 last year and only loss was when my starting pitcher didn't pitch. So 42-1 the last two years. Fastpitch Softball is a big deal hear in Oklahoma! Now to enjoy a long offseason until baseball season starts up in March. May even get to play golf again!!!!!

fatshot I assume this was directed to me. I would estimate she throws mid to upper 50's from 43feet as a 7th grader! So she will be back next year for me. Her best pitch isn't her fastest pitch though, it is a rise ball that girls swing under, again and again and again.

Took the dog for a walk, had lunch, and decided Ryder Cup on tv was a better bet than playing in high winds with persistent rain showers. Back's still hurting (ibuprofen helps) and I need it for Gleneagles on Monday so probably not golfing tomorrow either.

Took a day off. Did some stuff around the house and then went out for 9. Played 2 balls and then hit the range. Shot 42 which sort of sucked since I bombed driver but couldn't make a putt. Course was sloppy wet.

KCee We have had such little rain here in southern Oklahoma our town just implemented a burn ban. Which sucks because the weather is finally cooling down to where I want to go out back and light the fire pit!

Dufferman Thanks for your response....sorry I didn't address that to you, as I meant to. I was under the impression that a softball field was 1/2 the size of a baseball field....WRONG! Whenever I watch the college girls on TV, I'm impressed with how fast the ball gets to the plate! It's almost like the hitters don't have a chance!!

Haven't done much of anything the past couple weeks except check on and hang out with Mom.
Sitting in the garage now, listening to DISTURBED and having a few cocktails and a nip or 3 of Fireball.

Golf_ghirl handed me a bunch of CDs she found in a cleanup session, 3 or of them by Disturbed. #1 son says they're his but he's downloaded them to his computer so I can have them. Got in #2 son's car the other day to go collect #1s car from a service, he connects his phone, Hendrix comes on ... my parenting hasn't been a complete blowout after all 🤣
