Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

I'll be glad when this week is over.

First it was the garage door opener. Now it's a custom window we've been waiting on for 2 months.

Ordered to go with our master bath reno. Actually have to have it to start. Ordered the 6th of May. Came in today......

WITHOUT A NAILING FLANGE!!!

To top it off, the 1st line on the order sheet says With NAILING Flange!!!

So now it's been reordered with a 2 week expidite.

Hopefully my contractor can use this one, but if not, it'll be another F*n Delay!?!?!

Seniors league match in very hot, dry conditions. Whacked when I got home, and got hit with a list of suddenly urgent odd jobs - bedroom door handle was broken (again) and 2 new toilet seats to fit. All made bearable by the big long box in the kitchen - Cally Epic Flash 3W arrived, and it is virtually spotless. Can't find a mark on the sole plate at all and that's where you'd expect to see use especially if previous owner tried it at the range. Nope. It's spotless. Nice buy.

Took the dog for a late evening chase around the golf course with a ball; too hot for him to exercise daytime so he gets to go mad of an evening, although it was still humid. Now watching TDF highlights, Irish Open highlights still to come.

Dr appointments and testing today, now resting. It was fairly obvious that I was going to need glasses and fortunately they have wraparound eyeglasses these days! I will get them in a couple of weeks. 🙂

I sprayed our beds and street, 4 yards of triple shredded black gold coming tomorrow. I still need to put down my snapshot though. I then started cleaning out my garage by cleaning some gutters 1st. My ladder days are OVER!! My 85 yr old mother said she wished she could do it for me. She's a saint. Then I started this garage cleaning by starting with my workbench, and finished faze 1 about 12:30am. I can't fucking move right now, can't fucking sleep either. No way to live. I'm heading out early to a former place of employment to help the "ham salad" assistant/friend with some ideas on a project out there. Heading to current place of employment about 11 to touch base with them on my physical status. Physical Therapy @ 2, then friends over for some cocktails and bullshit. Wish some of you could attend. That fucking mulch will wait till Saturday, if SWHG doesn't attempt to put it down tomorrow night, by herself.

I failed at building the wedges, btw.😞

Trimmed an Azalea this morning, planned on some short game and putting work for a few hours beofre I go into the pro shop but its raining now...

Playing golf for the 2nd time since October and for the 1st time since retirement… this is day 2. Looking forward to this becoming the ‘new normal’. 😁

We are about the hop on an Amtrak train and take a trip down to Ft. Worth. My son has wanted to take a train ride, so figured we would give it a go. About a 2 hour ride, then going to stay the night maybe hit up a museum in the area and come home tomorrow evening. Hope he has a good time!

Breakfast, bit of exercise, lunch, dog walk, disappointed NOT to come home to a parcel (5W Weds, 3W Thurs, Driver ... still "In Transit" - drive faster you muppet!). May go the practice ground for an hour with the FWs but I have a charity pickup and dropoff at 7pm so maybe not .. .got half an hour to decide.

In the office half a day, maybe hit some balls if it's not raining (trying to find the swing I lost), get a workout in and some stuff done around the house.

Work is stressing me out. Rain cleared out this morning and it looks like it's going to be a nice weekend. Made a tee time tomorrow for Cherokee Valley - a short and hilly course that suits my distance challenged game. Plotting a few days off next week with hopefully at least a round in there somewhere.

Took the 2 granddaughters back home to Columbus today (actually met our daughter halfway to pick them up).
Enjoyed having them, but it's nice to have some "peace & quiet" in the house now...! Oldest son and his family
are coming in for the weekend, so we'll have a day to catch our breath and get ready for them...!

Family went to a friend’s home to watch the city fireworks display. My eyes are burning and I’m coughing from some allergy, so I stayed home. Heating up a pre-cooked Angus burger patty for supper since we have buns, lettuce, and tomatoes on hand. Took a Benadryl and will probably be napping soon.

Yes all went well and was a bit of a surprise after the false alarm on Monday.
It's our first girl, after two boys, and likely the last grandkid as well.
