Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

SWHG ( She Who Hates Golf), scheduled dog grooming appointments on my “day off” so I have to do drop off and pick up on 2 dogs. My other day for 18 is tomorrow... gotta do it again with the other 2.

When you haven't fished for years and have gotten rid of all your fishing gear there is nothing better than a $30 Zebco 33 rod and reel set to get you going again.

Bravopilot I would have guessed to increase the airline reward program

Most of the people I work with do select airlines and hotels based upon the rewards programs. I don’t accumulate enough miles to really make that a consideration and so I get what is most practical for the trip. Glad that I get to travel only occasionally and have been able to spend lots of time with my kids while they’ve grown.

johnnydoom I travel a lot before COVID days and chased airline, hotel, and car rental rewards. Becomes an effort after a while--plus trying to meet all low govt price standards. Always hate 1 Jan each year as the totals go back to 0 for the year. I maintained the highest levels. Now that travel returned, no so sure I want to keep the chase going. Do like sitting in first class though.

Cleaned out the 6 horse trailer, getting ready to game ready one horse, then off to mail a package to a friend in TN. She had something shipped to me for some reason, now I get to send it to her... Maybe a quick 9 holes afterwards...

At least 50 years ago. Correction, I was wrong. 68 years ago.

In 1953, the Zebco 33 spincast reel debuted. The improved design was an immediate success. By 1956, reel manufacturing had become so important to ZHB that it ceased production of oil field materials and changed its name to Zebco.

It's all I've used, then and now, 33s and "33 Classic". I did find one of my old 33s in Mom and Pop's basement. The new ones don't look the same, but they still work great. I could use some stiffer action rods though. That bass I'm holdin' put up a nice fight and even broke water.

Wasted day waiting for Charger and Varitek to be done at the groomer. Got the vacuuming done, grass cut and took a trip to the supermarket to get some juices to come home and get my Mango Peach moonshine going. It’s now cooling in the fridge. Later tonite after work I’ll add in the 190 proof Everclear and a bottle of Peach Schnapps

meagain Like I stated.....I was a baby. Had many 33's growing up. Or, Johnson Century.

In fact, just bought 5 Zebco 33 outfits last summer and had them sent to my hometown library. They let the kids come in and take them to fish the park ponds. Of course, they have no idea who sent them--factory direct. 😉
