Late breakfast, dog walk. Watched a bit of Euro Tour golf. Put a scarifier/aerator together a few weeks back ... and hid it under the stairs in the house, no room in garden shed for it at the time. So finally dug it out and gave the lawn a going over with the aerator.
Hard work even with an electric machine, I didn't really notice how uneven the lawn is until I tried driving over it, and so much moss ... Even harder work with a dog supervising. Golf_ghirl was there to help and rolled some moss killer/grass seed mix. Needs to rain next couple of days or it'll be out with the hose. Probably doing things front to back but the aerator scraped a lot of the moss off the surface but it can lie there for now. Give the moss killer two weeks and I'll run over it with a scarifier to collect the (hopefully dead) moss.
Watched some more golf, now on PGA coverage, and took my revenge on the dog after dinner - took a brush to him as he's starting to suffer in the heat from wearing his winter coat while the temps climb. He's not talking to me now, won't even look at me, but I'll be forgiven when it's time for his night walk.
