Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Early dog walk then golf with two good friends. Thought I was in for a pleasant day all round but the weather turned on us, temp dropped and (cold) wind got up. Led to the highlight of the day, standing under a hot shower until my skin started to peel 🤣

CallMeAl Took fluorescent lights out of the garage and installed LED.

I have about 20 4' double bulb fluorescent fixtures in my basement that stay on all day. I replaced the bulbs with LED's made to convert ballasted fluorescent bulbs and only put one bulb in each fixture. I get more illumination than with the two old bulbs. I also converted some other fixtures like the kitchen lights that stay on a lot. My whole house total electric bill has dropped by by 18% per month.

Today I ran the snow blower out to the storage shed and let it run itself out of gas. Then I fired up the lawn mowers in the shed (rider and push model) and transferred them back into the garage. Getting ready for spring! I also noticed that for the first time this spring, my body wasn't sore the day after golf....I must be getting into better shape!

I'd like to be doing that too but living in Minnesota means it's probably not done snowing yet. We are supposed to be in the 70's for the weekend but it was 37 with a 23 wind chill this morning. We usually get a few inches of snow in April.

Another day mostly in bed (thank goodness for adjustable beds!), but have a horrible itch to get out into the garage and get some golf things done! Lol 😂

Got out and played 18. Still going crazy low on the back 9. Hitting it close when I figure it out.

Worked at indoor golf tonite , hit balls on the Quad and a round on the sim as well. Got to work on a few things that worked well earlier today when I played.

Today, is puppy day at the barn, until about 2:30-2:45. Supposedly there is someone coming here to take an older/ unwanted ford p/u away. He was out yesterday and said he would be back. I was hoping to be able to hit some balls into the field next door, except some guy showed up to trim a tree and see about getting the ivy off it. They just happened to park a truck and chipper right in the path I hit in...
Boss is heading north to a horse show for school students, and she will be gone all weekend...
Horse show for school students is kinda like a PE substitution. Full time professional trainers kinda donate thier time to train teams of kids who would like to ride and show yet don't have the money to pay for it. The shows consist of the teams showing up with what they need to ride in, helmet, breeches (pants), and boots. They are allowed to bring their own stirrup leathers. Everything else will be provided, horse/ rider combinations are done by lottery draw. The kids have about an hour to get used to the horse and then they get to go show in front of show judges.
Not sure of the prizes as I have not attended one...

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will just be a short term and then back onto the golf course.
... how are your shoulders? I maybe would like to borrow one. I stopped at the local liquor package place last Saturday afternoon to get some wine for my wife and fell into the store. They had their 12' floor mat wrinkled up into the doorway and with wearing my face mask I didn't notice it and tripped and fell onto the cement floor. I landed hard on my elbow and forearm which jammed my shoulder. I saw my Dr. on Monday and he says it's locked and there is possibly a slight rotator cuff tear. I'm supposed to do some therapy at home this week and if it hasn't improved by next week he'll send me to the local physical therapist. If that doesn't solve it I get to go for x-rays and an MRI to see if I'll need surgery. If that happens, it's good bye to golf for this year.

mulegolf Yikes! I get injections into each shoulder twice a year, but that sounds much better than what you are going through. I sure hope you heal up quicker rather than later.

I guess so far, I'll take my shoulder over your ailment. At least I can walk around. Take care and hopefully we're both back on the course when it gets warm outside consistently. One of my biggest complaints is that I just got my simulator set up in my garage and now I can't use it.
