Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Guy finally came an hour late to fix the return on my pool. Just came in from trimming the bushes out front and spraying Agent Orange on the remaining poison ivy on the hill behind the fence

Worked like a dog around the yard today....trimmed 12 shrubs, ran the weed-eater, and trimmed some low-hanging branches so they wouldn't hit me in the face when I go around them on my riding mower!!! Got it all done though, so I can play 18 holes tomorrow!!

Sat in the house all day, again, and watched yet more rain/high winds pass through. Can't wait til May gets here and Spring is outta the way. FML

In the office again. Business seems to be picking up a bit this week thankfully. Was hoping to play in my 9 hole league tonight, but the weather doesn't look like it will cooperate. Nothing yet, but I'm sure the thunderstorms will start just before or after the 1st tee time.

Worked out this morning, played 9 holes. Hit it great after my range work. Putter however is being banished to the basement. It wasn’t my gamer anyway. I never like to start the year with the gamer.

Since II sold my 93 Corvette I had space in my garage under my home. Moved my rolling chassis 73 from a detached garage to that garage. A little hard to steer with no steering wheel.
Tried to dig up a rose bush that was planted in 1979 and had finally quit growing. Beings that I broke my shovel and couldn't even get it out with a huge spud bar, ended up having to put a log chain around it and yank it with my 4 wheel drive. Fun.

Just chased down a faulty speaker wire in my backyard surround sound system. Of course it was the one section of wire I didn't check yesterday when I did the same thing. Wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't 105° out. A quick dip in the pool cooled me right off.

Last full day of work before a 2 week furlough. Gotta file for unemployment today.

Just finished working, for good. After 16 years p.t., the Ceo came 45 miles from central office and presented me with a 100 gift card. Nice gesture, especially since I made it clear that no party. Just another day.

Work half a day. Play 18 the second half. Gonna be hot, but the course ought to be magnificent with the heavy rains we had last Friday and Monday. Everything should be fully grown in🙂.
