Taxing couple of days. Yesterday some work, Did some stuff with Spike including a ride to his favorite store and a mile run. Came home and used the roof rake and shoveled it away. Find out my BIL went to the ER with chest pains while snow blowing. Next up we notice at nite Spike coughing a lot. Other than the day’s excursions, he seemed a bit off. Then my youngest calls, his wife was taken from work by ambulance because she was bleeding. They have been going through invetro etc…. And she just had the last unsuccessful one removed. So we thought we’d be driving into Boston to get them around 10 pm. She had a battery of tests and scans and was ok. They ubered home in 10 minutes. Today they’ll check in with their fertility doctor.
Tree is morning I stayed home so we could get Spike a vet appt. We were thinking pneumonia because he had these symptoms in November but we ignored the early signs thinking it was a cough. He became very ill over the weekend which is the worst time with only emergency vets open. So we got an appt and sure enough he was getting it again. Gabe him an antibiotic shot and put him on meds. Thank God we were smart enough to know because with the wwwkwnd coming up we’d be in the same boat as last time
