Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

I use a U letter drill bit .368 and a hand drill. I clamp the head in my loft/lie machine.

CallMeAl Read that as a PapaD price. Looked right past the K. Gotten a couple of shots in my shoulder so far, Medicare and TRICARE paid all, have not checked what surgery will be🤔

CallMeAl May be JMO, but that is dirt cheap. Esp. when I just got a printout from an MRI that was almost 7K!!

Have been getting shots every 3 months in my shoulders and thumbs but something happened to wipe out my right shoulder. I knew it was toast before then from my job. Thumbs are bone on bone at first joint with zero movement. Dr wants to fuse them with a screw.

CallMeAl Already did, was scheduled for rotator cuff surgery then covid hit and they cancelled all "elective" surgeries. Didn't bother me too much as I traveled a lot. Shoulder was much better until recently, now back to irritating. Should have had the surgery, aging sucks and makes this harder. Now I'm retiring, will re-consider. Surgeon I'm using is actually anti-surgery.

candukid Strictly in that sense, I pay very little for it too. My insurance covers most of it. It is actually just a different form of salary just as yours is. Instead of getting paid in cash, the value is paid out in medical care. What is not used pays for someone else's care and administrative expenses. Nothing is free except what is charitably given without expectation of return.

Suffer? Or go into major debt? What if you do have insurance and the company declines to cover the cost?

The sooner you have it, the sooner it becomes a memory.

I had my other shoulder done 12-15 years ago. It's nice to wake every morning and not suffer any issues...Just get on with the daily.

That's my goal. To live what I have left without any underlying issues. Makes my days more enjoyable.

The worst part of this is that even though you checked with the ins. co. prior to surgery, and they say you are covered, you may still get billed after.

Surgery and 'all things related to' are 2 different dogs in the kennel. Esp. when it comes to Medicare. And greedy doctors/hospitals.

You know that just is not true, do you not? Yet Canadians always seem to 'brag' about free healthcare up there. And it most certainly is not free. In fact, it may be more costly than here in the U.S., for all or certain things.

Plus, you also cannot get all healthcare in all Provinces.

Predetermination/ Pre-approval in writing as well as making sure the procedure is 'coded' properly
usually staves off the post surgery surprises. Speaking from experience with a number of surgeries
over the last decade or so. I've only had to go through the appeal process once over time and they
made the correction after the 1st stage of appeal. Just be patient, thorough and determined IMO.
