Took Nick to the Airport bus at 4:45 am. Went to one account and came home to see how Spike was.
He’s been fine but yesterday he spit up a little mucousy bile around 4 am. He went outside like a likes to to lay on the deck. Wife got up to feed him around 7 and he wouldn’t come in. She went outside and he was shaking, feverish, coughing, lethargic, weak, ,heart was racing,, eyes looked bad. He likes rides so went took one and he was afraid to jump out of the car. Last night he was worse. He’d pee and drink anyway. We slept in the living room last night but he slept on the bathroom floor. He got a good sleep, 4 hours or so and is better today but still far from himself. I wasn’t sure he’d make it through last night, he seemed that bad…. And we’ve seen a lot of bad this year.
We have a vet appt at 2:30 so I’m hoping it’s just an antibiotic. It came on so quick… wow. Once again, prayers for one of my pups!
