Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Did some more clearing on the hillside in my backyard. Hand clipping and lopping invasive saplings on the steep part. Opens up the water view from the house.

Geezer band practice, gig tomorrow.

Mine are going nuts, can almost see them growing. Got some just starting to ripen. Have a drip irrigation setup that runs for 3 hours every other day. Some are 5 feet high. They all will be in a week or so.

Just kidding. Everyone knows there's too much moisture in your grass to get a fire going. Mine on the other hand, is melting now. Went from way to much rain for too long, to having leaves dropping off of my river birch tree due to heat and lack of rain.

And even after noon it was too wet to be mowing, as I found out as I was doing it. Looks a bit ragged out there now. Need to sharpen that blade. Or squirt shaving cream all over prior.

Every single Walmart around here has an auto center. Can't say that I've used them much, but the set of tires on our CR-V now were ordered online, delivered to the Walmart 2 miles from my house, and installed in their shop.

Typhoon Maybe there aren't any around your area for some reason. Could be labor unions or local laws scared the corporation from it, but most Walmarts all over the south have full service auto centers. Whenever I need tires I always check Walmart online. Usually I don't find anything all that fantastic and end up going elsewhere. Last time though, they had a discontinued model of a Bridgestone marked down to a price that saved me $300 over a comparable set anywhere else. I think we bought them 2 years ago and they've been great.

The Walmart Auto Centers are usually not visible from the front of the store. They are tucked in around a back corner of the store. Inside you will just see a small counter and a rack of batteries in a back corner of the store. If you drive around the back of the store you will see garage bays and an entrance into the store.

Typhoon I know some of the "smaller" WalMarts in my area don't have the Auto center. Many WalMarts other places are quite a bit larger. Maybe a New England thing?

Easy day sort of. It’s going to be over 100 degrees index so that might put a damper on hitting balls at noon. Gotta fix the driver swing.

Cleaned out the trap or whatever it is on the washing machine . At my first account now, only one I’ll do probably. Hitting the 9:20 gym class. Next I’ll go up to golf n ski and try to hit some iron shafts outside in the demo area. Should be home around 1. Pool time, giving a lesson at 4 pm and then maybe I’ll hit some balls. Tonite…. Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix

Been putting it off too long. Going to have to suck it up and take a break from work to mow the lawn in the brutal sun and heat. Otherwise working and doing some financial finagling to pay what I need to for the kids college. Thought I had the perfect spacing with the older finishing 4 years and the younger starting the next year. Then the older ended up on the five year plan and totally threw a wrench into it. On top of that, he's having badly needed sinus surgery next week and I'm sure I'll be on the hook for some of that.

[deleted] Some of the old school flanges were steel where the toilet bolts went through. I've had 1 or 2 of those situations end up being a lot more hassle than they should have been.

And that's why I won't mess with anything anymore. I'm fine when things go as planned but I just don't have the temperament anymore to deal with adversity

Typhoon Used them numerous times. No issues. If you are the kind of person that goes in and expects them to have what you want on the shelf in house then you may not see the advantage of using them. The available selection special order is pretty extensive.

My friend Billy and his wife’s dog died yesterday from Bloat. My Ozzy died from that last June. Also this week my friend Ed had to put his dog down as well. Week today putting Varitek down😪

Might be an 'age' thing. The older one near me has no auto center, but the newest one does.
