Yesterday I decided to sun myself for a bit in the backyard. I got a nice sunburn from my shoulders to my knees, I should have taken a hot shower last night to alleviate the burn. Instead I didn't and by the time I crawled into bed my burn was hot, and my body was swearing I was cold. Slept like crap, woke up with a cough. I really haven't left the couch most of the day.
I did get out and pressure wash as much of my beastie's engine as I could.
I also received the new to me ratchet today. It had enough surface rust that I decided to take it apart, remove the rust as much as possible.

I spent an hour easy scrubbing the chrome with some fine steel wool. Most of the stuff that wouldn't come off easily with the steel wool, I was able to scrape off with a flat blade screwdriver. (Yes, I know that's not the proper use of the flatblade screwdriver. Don't care...)
After I got done I oiled it well, and it feel very smooth for being a course tooth ratchet.
It also came with a 36mm impact socket that I have to pry off with a cold chisel and hammer.
It's now in the truck with the rest of my tools.
Let's see if I can find a nice proto torque wrench for a smoking price online somewhere.
Yes, Rex @Par4QC , I have looked at harborfreight.com torque wrench. They sure are proud of those. I can slow roll my quest for a torque wrench and maybe find a proto, or snap on for the same price as HF.
