Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

I changed the shower head. The new one has a filter you screw onto the shower neck and then screw the shower head onto that. For some reason the directions tell you NOT to use pipe tape on the neck to filter connection…. Only use it on the filter to head connection. So I follow directions. Where I don’t put pipe tape it leaks. I take it off the neck, 2 wraps of pipe tape, no leaks.

I think it’s funny that even though they tell you not to use pipe tape, they include it in the box

Lounging around. Gotta go pick up the wife in a couple of hours. Will stop by the post office and Kroger along the way. Going to make stuffed bell peppers tonight for supper since the daughter and I love them. Wife doesn’t, but she won’t be here.

candukid I have moved away from the tape if I can help it. Tape is for when I can't find my little tube of this stuff.

Had to buy a female hose mender and put that one before hooking it up to the power washer. Worked great, no leaks. Used pipe tape on everything. I was able to get a fitting off the pw that was bonded on with our shit water. Couldn’t cut it off but happened to have a 1 1/16 socket that fit it and it worked. This is the 1900 Ryobi I hang all year under the deck.

I have crawled under my truck many times as I was putting new knuckles/ bushings in for the 4 link rear suspension. I have 2 more knuckles I have to do, I just can't get my impact wrench to break the back bolt loose. So, I've called it a day, and I'm letting everything sit, I have already replaced the other 6 knuckles, it is currently 98.6° in the side yard, and I'd rather relax in the house where it's 75°.

At least a temporary reprieve thanks to YouTube. Garbage disposal stopped running due to a jam. Didn’t know I could manually spin it from underneath using a 1/4” hex end until YouTube dude said I could. I did, and it worked. Probably still not long for this world, but at least useable for a bit longer.

😄You can usually find that in the back corner, under the sink where the disposal is. You'll need to move all those bottles and other crap as it will be covered up.
At least if I installed you can.

Par4QC Only the 2nd time I ever had one stop. The first time the disposal didn’t have a thermal resettable fuse, at least not a manually operated one, and I could smell the burn from the wires being fried by the time my wife notified me that there was a problem. This time I was operating it and could tell it wasn’t spinning (just humming) when I turned it on. Glad I could free it without noticeable damage as I hated replacing the last one.

Number 1 son, his wife and youngest (college age) came for an early Mother's Day.....cooked out, etc., etc.
Daughter and her daughters are coming up from Columbus to surprise her tomorrow, then we're all going
out to eat. Dad picks up the tab, of course, LOL.....

Typhoon My lawn is almost ready to cut for the first time. It doesn't grow fast when you only get 4 hours of sun twice a week.

I finally made it to a range yesterday to work on my driver. I was getting too flat with it. Good to go

Mother's Day stuff

Work. Going to Quatman's Cafe' for supper tonight. Iconic place, here in Ohio, known for their burgers. Original joint's in Norwood, but they also opened one, about a mile from the crib, in old Mason. Go there ALMOST every Monday, with Becky's uncle. He's 81 and his wife passed away about a year and a half ago(married 57 years). It was their routine and we're helping him carry it on. He's a great man, just lonely. I love the guy, so much. Breaks my heart to have him tell us, he's done, ready to go be with his wife. He's healthy as a horse!!

Doing a couple accounts and then going out to play. Later this afternoon I’ll cut the grass again and maybe wash a couple cars. You really have to think ahead now with the weather. I cut the lawn this past Thursday but it’s going to rain Thursday - next Monday. Tomorrow I’ll be busy getring Jesse and his wife to doctor appts. Wednesday I’ll be getting Nick to the airport for Metalfeat in Milwaukee. I’d like to golf Wednesday too and I have to work in the pro shop later on. I’ll get most of my day job done if it in fact rains the end of the week
