Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Almost over being sick for the past 6 days. Back to work. Making a pot of spaghetti sauce to add to spaghetti for supper tonight. Then off to watch my daughter in the high school percussion ensemble show tonight. Then back home where I hope I can get a good night of sleep.

Got soaked. Left work at 11:30. Got a haircut. Went to bass pro and bought a pair of pants for a funeral. Yeah, Bass Pro. Now home with Shithead.

Exactly. She wouldn't bite on the T-shirt, cargos and flip flops. If it wasn't her mother (who I love), I wouldn't be going. I swore off funerals, several years ago.

Work at the barn. I went back to digging out the concrete footings for the bench I'm slowly rebuilding. I was finally able to get down to the concrete on every post. I started cutting the rusted screw heads off. Hopefully, my next week down there I'll have finished cutting the old screws, and I'll have started replacing the posts with pressure treated 4x4 and boards.

The first time I played with my father-in-law was at his club in NJ and I didn't realize you couldn't wear shorts. Had to borrow a pair of pants from a member. Probably part of why it took me almost 10 years to like this stupid game....I was 30 years old and had decent legs back then! 🤣

Typhoon I didn't take you for a skirt kinda guy...
I can play almost all year round, depending on the weather. Some days it's a bit too cool to wear shorts.

Typhoon My son had a park league football coach from Massachusetts. If the temp was above 40 he'd wear shorts and a t-shirt. If below 40, but above 30 he'd wear shorts and a hoodie. He wouldn't ditch the shorts unless it was below about 30. Us Mssissippi folks would be all bundled up and he'd be out there talking about the great football weather.

johnnydoom Drivers I used to work with would wear shorts all winter…. Trading through 10-12 stamps in snow and below zero temps. But they were idiots.

Back to the course to see about finishing up the JD fairway mower. I got the honor of rebuilding a rear roller on one reel, and I got that reel sharpened, and put back together. Hopefully I can get the other 4 done today.

Still lingering stuffed up sinuses and cough. Project panic at work. Wife's car wouldn't start. Got the car started with the magic capacitor starter (Autowit) and sent her off to Autozone across the street to spend a bunch of money. Wish the work and sinus problems were that easy to solve. On the plus side, my eight tomato plants looked like they survived several days worth of rain without serious root rot or anything. They look happy, healthy, and growing and the SunGold cherry tomatoes both already have a string of tomatoes started on them.

Worked a little, played 9 and was just not feeling it. Maybe it was because the kid who played along with me was 14 over after 3 holes. Didn’t bother playing the back 9. Went home, cut the lawn and made food on the grill before it rained

Walterjn No, non inspiring round. Hit it “meh”. Scored the same. Distracted day. It does bother me and while sitting around tonite watching TV I figured out what I was probably doing wrong. Just an early season incorrect address position . I went downstairs, grabbed a club, got into address position and saw the issue.

Now I can’t wait to get out but tomorrow is going to be 40 degrees and rain so….. not shorts weather.

Something about you not wanting to travel far for a while.

Today, I finished up doing the reels on the fairway mower. I also got to rebuild 2 of the rollers.
